Graduate of Cornell University, 2003

  • Coach McGovern went on to play 4 years at Cornell University where he made it to the Quarter Finals of the National Tournament in 2002 and won an Ivy League Championship in 2003.

  • Coach McGovern grew up in Greenwich and played Lacrosse for both Brunswick and Greenwich High School.

    • In 1998 Coach McGovern helped lead his Nationally ranked Brunswick team to an undefeated season and 9th overall HS ranking.

    • In 1999 he led his Cardinal team to the Semi-Finals of States earning All State and FCIAC honors.

  • Coach McGovern is a Co-Founder of RISE Brewing Co. and lives in Old Greenwich with his wife Rose, 4 year old daughter Layla and 2 year old son Leonardo.
