Brian Murray

Coach Murray is currently the acting head varsity boys lacrosse coach for Tappan Zee High School.  

He is a certified New York State coach and high school English teacher.

  • Played in college at SUNY Geneseo where he was a four-year starter and captain his junior and senior year.    

  • Team Ireland, team captain, 2004 European Championship-7th place, 2005 Celtic Championship-1st place

  • Assistant Varsity Coach at Suffern for 8 years, specialized in coaching the offense and goalies 

  • Coached more than 40 players who went on to play Division 1 lacrosse and four All-Americans

  • Director of Tappan Zee Youth Lacrosse from 2017-2022
